The traditional Romanian barbecue skinless sausages, made from a mixture of beef and pork and spices.

Also known as mititei, it’s believed that they were invented by a Transylvanian, Ionescu Iordache, a famous sausage maker, in one night when he was missing sausage casings. Instead he laid them directly on the grill.

It is at the heart of every Romanian gathering, it tastes the best when barbecued  but pan fried is another alternative; can be served with fresh bread and mustard. It’s the best Romanian finger food.

Made with pride from the finest cuts of met fresh herbs and spices.
